. . . How will they react???

In this message:

  • Congressional 1st Amendment violators targeted for exposure
  • Radio ads recorded and available on the website
  • Incumbent protection scheme exposed

All federal office holders swear an oath to serve, protect, and defend the Constitution, but most of them violate their oath with impunity. And they usually get away with it because no one takes them to task.

BUT NOT THIS TIME AROUND.

This time, we'll disclose the violators who voted for the so-called Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act (BCRA), which is really just a fancy name for a nearly air-tight incumbent protection plan.

And we're excited because, although this law has clauses that can put people in jail for five years if they fight back the way we're fighting back, the law doesn't take effect until the day after next month's election.

So we're going to use our 1st Amendment rights before they're taken, and try to reverse this insane law in the process (as you know, we're also fighting this law in court).

We don't have the resources to unmask all the members of Congress who voted to violate your rights, but we're doing what we can. Seventy-nine people have contributed to Operation Free Press, a program to produce radio ads that lay bare the 1st Amendment violations of three Senators and five Representatives (as chosen by our supporters).

The Senators are . . .

  • John Kerry, D-MA
  • Joe Biden, D-DE
  • Susan Collins, R-ME

The Representatives are . . .

  • Mary Bono, R-CA 44th
  • Marty Meehan, D-MA 5th
  • Diane Watson, D-CA 32nd
  • Connie Morella, R-MD 8th
  • Henry Waxman, D-CA 29th

Senator John Kerry and Representative Mary Bono were the top vote getters, both overall and for their respective party. These are the two politicians our supporters chose to expose for their vote restricting freedom of speech, freedom of press, and freedom of association during the final 60 days of a federal election campaign.

But how many people will hear these ads? And how will Senator Kerry (a front-runner for his party's presidential nomination) and Representative Bono (Sonny's widow) react when they learn that their constitutional violations are being exposed to their constituents?

  • Will their jaws drop?
  • Will their faces blush?
  • Will their hearts beat faster?
  • Will they clinch their fists in anger?
  • Will they feel shame?

Do you want them to feel the heat and see the light?

Do you want them to sense resistance when they steal our rights?

When they push, shouldn't we push back?

And who knows . . . Maybe if we use our resources on these two incumbents, others will hear about it, straighten up, and fly right!

Most of the time we have to sit back and accept the fact that politicians violate our constitutional rights, but not this time. This time we're exposing them, but we need your help to do it.

Can you contribute to run the ads as many times as possible to as many people as possible? Your contribution of $50 or more to broadcast these ads will earn you a cassette copy of the ads, as well as a place for your name on our website next to the people who contributed to produce the ads. Can you help?

It's rare that we can unmask our elected leaders' constitutional violations, so let's seize this opportunity to let out a mighty roar and strike a blow for liberty.

Remember, the number of people who hear these ads depends on you. Your contribution is our budget.

Thank you.
